The much anticipation version 1.0 of the popular desktop organization app Fences, has been released today. Fences helps you reduce and eliminate the clutter of icons on the desktop by creating "fences" of icons. Users can draw shaded areas on the desktop and apply labels to them, which then become containers for your icons. These containers can be organized and customized by adjusting the shape and placing these Fences wherever you like on the desktop.

Getting a completely clean desktop is easy, as a simple double-click will hide all the icons and their Fences on the desktop. Of course, you can exclude specific icons from being hidden just in case you always like to see your recycle bin or other desktop icons.
